An exemplary use of contrast through the use of colors. Accents follow the rules of thirds and the viewer will find themselves circling their gaze around the entire piece rather than dropping off the page. These would be the white tiara/pink gem, the cyan teeth, and the pearls. The flower as well, also helping prevent the viewer's gaze from falling off the page when looking at the pearls. The simplicity of the piece is also key in being able to take in the very bright colors. One thing also appreciated was the interpretation of 'feeding it jewelry'. The teeth seem to take on an appearance of gems, and although intention seems open ended in this aspect, it seems like a very nice take on the concept.
